I Have Decided

Richard Waialeale

Scripture
Titus 3:3-6 (NIV) 3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior...
Observation
You don’t have to teach us to be bad. It’s like a vacuum, we simply get sucked in, cause by nature we were the children of wrath. But, thank God, in Christ, He has rescued us and saved us, and made us a child of God. But we have to make that decision. We must mindful of worldly, ungodly influences. I want to make to most of the time that I have left on this earth.
Application
“How I can make the most of the time I have?”I can make the most of the time I have left on earth by making the most of my walk with God. Because the Bible says the person who has a close walk with God is called Blessed! One of my favorite Scripture is also my application for today: Romans 12:2 (NIV) “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Prayer
Dear Lord, my heart is to draw closer to You, my prayer is that I seek you with all my heart, mind, soul and strength. Keep me on the path of righteousness - I have decided to follow Jesus. Amen.
