H.E.A.R.T. of God

It did take me a little think, meditation and prayer time to find words that, for me, would be a meaningful acronym for HEART. There are many other words descriptive of God’s attributes…but this is what was in my heart, in this season of my journey with God.

H – humble
E – eternal
A – architect
R – reconciler
T – true

Humble – To think, to attempt to fully comprehend the humility of our God is unfathomable! His unconditional love! The Fruit of the Spirit which defines who He is. At the core of His heart lives humility.

Eternal – Unthinkable, Undefinable, Untraceable, Beyond the limits and boundaries of my ability to understand – yet I know eternal is Larger than me and I am and will live with my eternal God for eternity!!!

Architect – Master Creator, Designer, Author, Inventor – the Master Mind – my Masterful God has architected my life in a way that He calls me His masterpiece!

Reconciler – Oh, how I am fully dependent on God as my Reconciler, having initiated a relationship with me to bring me into a covenant marriage. I am one with God through my Reconciler…Jesus!!!! He initiated love, sacrifice, forgiveness and oneness – to be with me, so I may be one with and in Him.

True – The core of who God is…True. He is truth and true to Himself, His Word in His relationship with me. My life is founded, built and lived out on my one and only TRUE God!!! He is True to me.

So how am I or will I be and live differently through this great HEART of God acronym?

My response is a prayer that I want to live up to: With all my heart and being, I desire to live pleasing unto You. To make You laugh, smile and happy. I want to take on these HEART attributes and live these out in my daily relationship with You and others. May I example You to my family and others, pointing them to Your attributes. Because catching a little glimpse of who You are in HEART, is changing my life!
