Dear Staff,
Thanks for your commitment to communicate any and everything that is useful to building our team spirit and updating our schedules/calendars.
I’ve been asked why I send out information, correspondence that does not (seem to) have anything to do with “Equipping” at New Hope. (i.e. – Sound Ministry, staff calendar items, NHO campus ministry ideas, promoting Bible training-discipleship, etc.)
Equipping New Hope Leaders and strengthening our volunteer spirit and involvement, are primary responsibilities I have.
I believe that helping all New Hope staff and volunteer ministry leaders, in whatever way I can…
that will build their relationship with Jesus & encourage their leadership development.
support their ministry or teams (in whatever way that encourages their hearts, team spirit, volunteer hearts).
…are inclusive of my role to lead, shepherd, train and equip them.
While each of the Directional Team leaders have ministry leaders we are specifically responsible and accountable for, Equipping will serve and support our NHO Honolulu ministers and ministries. This will happen in partnership and communication with our D-team.
The health of our leaders, volunteers and ministry teams are critical to the health of our church – thus my heart conviction:
Healthy shepherds, healthy sheep – healthy sheep, healthy ministries – healthy ministries, healthy church…reaching more and more people for Jesus! This takes constant work, sacrifice, attention and initiative doesn’t it!?
If I ever cross a “fine-unseen line” in your heart or ministry, that affects your leadership, teams or ministry, PLEASE let me know. My heart is to support, encourage, disciple, shepherd and help our leaders and volunteers in any way I can to build our church, equip leaders and increase the spirit and involvement of volunteers.
Please let me know how I can help, support and serve you, to be the best WE can be for Jesus. He is worthy of our very best and the SPIRIT of excellence will lead us to do immeasurable-great Kingdom deeds…together!
Co-laboring with you,
Rod
